The new STATIC SHOCK comic came out today... and it was good!

Summary: Virgil meets up with Richie immediately after the Big Bang.

Notes: I felt this needed to be done. It's nearly impossible to believe Virgil's theory on Richie's powers in 'Gear' if you watch the first episode. Of course, my head-canon follows the theory in VincentM's fanfiction "House Call" but according to actual show canon Gear's powers come from an accidental whiff of the residue gas on Virgil.

Aw, it's always so quiet around here. Hopefully once the new Static Shock comic is released things will start to pick up. I do come with some humble offerings from my tumblr. Mostly H/S, but there is a couple of R/V pieces stuffed in there. Be wary, one image beyond the cut is a bit large since it's a combination of four images.

Sorry this part took such a long time! I was in the process of coming home to the USA after spending two months in Berlin, Germany, so it took a little longer than expected to get this up. =D

hi! this is my first time posting here. I've been out of the Static Shock fandom for a few years, I think - hard to tell, because I rotate in and out of fandoms - but now I'm back! not that I ever posted here before that, as implied by my first sentence... anyways. I bring you fic. and I will also probably be bringing fanart soon. hopefully that will liven things up a bit.

Notes: When my best friend was kicked out of her father's house a few years ago, she left with literally only the clothes on her back. she walked barefoot to the house of a friend who lived in the neighborhood and got a ride to her mother's house. She was dealing with an entirely different kind of abuse, but that's part of what inspired this. The title is from the Matchbox20 song Unwell.

Hi, all! I have a question I hope someone will be able to answer.

A while back, there was a comic that took a look at Static's life ten years in the future. There was a high school anniversary, Richie in a suit, and Hotstreak in funky pants causing trouble. I never read the comic myself, but one of you guys did and made some comments about Virgil having had children by this point in time. What I am looking for is information about these children: name, age, gender, and appearance, to be specific. Does anyone have information about them? *hopeful*

And because I always feel bad about popping in and asking for things without giving anything back, I have two offerings to justify this post. The first is a fic I just started:
